Mathematical Ludology
I'm a Physics PhD researching mathematical methods to understand modern board games.
The games we play are worthy of study. For recreation, education, simulation, captivation — games have the power to change us and teach us about ourselves and the world. The art of game design has grown by leaps and bounds in recent decades — but the math hasn't kept up. I see much more we could learn, and I believe deeper mathematical understanding would enrich both games and other sciences. We've published a beginning [1, 2]. Soon, I hope to make a home here for my ongoing work to gather community and support. I hope you'll join me to see how far we can go.

Thank you! I'm excited to have you on board. I'll be in touch later on as this project develops.
